Proper Sharpening is essential...
To do this we use the Vollmer CNC controlled CX100..

  • To maximize tool life between sharpening.
  • To produce consistently smooth finish cuts.
  • To reduce power requirements.
  • To maintain proper rake and shear angles.

We maintain original factory specifications, geometry and tolerances on every cutting tool serviced.

We use only super fine grit diamond and CBN grinding wheels, working on flood cooled machines to assure you of the sharpest, longest lasting cutting edges possible.

Careful set-up maintains proper hook, shear and relief angles.  Wing to wing run out is minimized by use of precision indexing systems on all of our sharpening machinery.

Sharpening orders are completed and shipped within 2-3 days on the average.   Emergency service may be available if you phone ahead.

To avoid damage to your expensive tooling, we suggest that you take the extra time to carefully wrap and pad every item before shipping to us.

We cannot take responsibility for damage in route.

Using fine grit diamond wheels, both the face and top are ground.

We hold tolerance to the original factory specs (or better) always.

Shaper Cutters benefit our expertise.   With fine grit wheels and large precision indexing plates, we can solve your run out problems.

Perfect alignment of cutting edges to grinding wheel insures minimal pattern distortion.

We remove only enough carbide to perfectly match all wings and expose clean new cutting edges.
