The Router Bits shown here are all designed for a specific job.

It is very important not to use the tool when it is dull or improperly sharpened. (If the tool is dull or improperly sharpened, the increased feed pressure required will cause breakage).

Loose, worn (ovalized) or dirty sollets account for approximately 80% of tool breakage. Collets must be replaced regularly (marks on shanks will indicate collet trouble and void guarantee).  Shank must always be inserted all the way into the collet.

Always use the shortest bit possible.  Suspend work and find cause if machine or workpiece vibrates.
